Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay Outcome

I've been trying to hammer out a race report, but as usual, it's going to be as long as the event for which it's written.....so far I'm thinking that it'll be 6 or 7 pages.

I know, I know...another Shogun.

For those who've asked for immediate gratification (albeit 3 weeks late), here's the Reader's Digest version:

The weather was stellar.

Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay

Well...I did it....I signed up for the 24 hour Relay at Swangard Stadium this coming June 14th & 15th. With a little help from 95 Crave FM, I managed to secure an entry into this event for a great cause. I've always wondered about running in a 24 hour event, but the thought of circling the same 400m track like a hamster has always been the proverbial "line-in-the-sand" as far as protecting my (limited) sanity went. This event gives a bit more variety in that it covers a 4.5km stretch of pathway, track, & trail...it's also pretty darn close to home.

World Run Report

"Vancouver saw a truly unique & world class ultrarunner show up for a slide show & a little running this week.

Jesper Olsen, the Dane who (last October) became the first (& so far, only) person to ever run around the world, payed us a visit & presented his amazing tale at the Centennial Theater on Friday night. To say it was amazing & inspirational is an understatement.

Glenn's 2006 list

Ok, here it goes...

I, Glenn Pace, being of (relatively) sound mind & (sorta) body bring forward the attached action items for the year 2006:

Stretch no fewer than 5 nights a week.
